These benefits include:

Does My NTUC Incomeshield Plan Cover ENT Treatments?

Yes, your NTUC Incomeshield plan generally covers ENT treatments, including many diagnostic tests like scopes and various surgical procedures. However, some plans may exclude certain items, such as over-the-counter medications or treatments related to specific conditions. We recommend reviewing your policy for any exclusions or contacting our team for assistance.

How Much Am I Covered For?

You can check your NTUC Incomeshield coverage by contacting your financial agent or reaching out to our clinic team for assistance. Be sure to review important details such as deductibles, co-payment terms, and the list of covered procedures to fully understand your benefits.

What Is a Letter of Guarantee (LOG)?

A Letter of Guarantee (LOG) is a benefit provided to NTUC Incomeshield policyholders to help cover the upfront cash deposit required for hospitalisation or day surgery at major hospitals in Singapore.

While the LOG can cover up to $30,000 for treatments by a private specialist from NTUC IncomeShield’s Panel or Extended Panel, it’s important to understand that the LOG does not automatically guarantee claim approval; the details of your claim will still be reviewed by NTUC.

If you are a policyholder, our clinic can assist you in requesting an LOG. Once requested, the LOG is typically issued to the hospital within 2-3 days, as long as all criteria are met.

What Is the Claims Process?

For hospitalised patients, your documents will be submitted through e-Filing by the hospital’s administration. Outpatient patients must ensure their documents are submitted electronically via the hospital or medical institution. You can visit the NTUC Income website to submit your hospitalisation claims, or contact our clinic for assistance.

For both inpatient and outpatient treatment, your claim will be reviewed, and the final outcome will be communicated to the hospital, which will then issue the final bill and handle any refunds if necessary.

For pre- and post-hospitalisation treatment and emergency overseas treatment, claims usually take about 14 working days to process once all required documents are received. If more information is needed, the process may take longer, and you will be kept informed.
